The Licensee is free to:
The Licensee must give appropriate credit to the LEVEL UP project and the full consortium, provide a link to this licence, and indicate if changes were made. Attribution must be provided in a reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests that the Licensor endorses the Licensee or their use.
The attribution must also clearly state that the Materials were developed as part of the project LEVEL UP – Levelling Up Media Literacy Education for Older Europeans through Gamification, co-funded by the European Union. Where reasonably possible, the reference to EU co-funding should include the European Union emblem and an acknowledgement statement in accordance with applicable EU visibility requirements.
The Licensee may not use the material for commercial purposes.
If the Licensee remixes, transforms, or builds upon the material, they must distribute their contributions under the same licence as the original.
The Licensee may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the licence permits.
The Licensor expressly prohibits the inclusion of the Materials in artificial intelligence systems. This includes, but is not limited to, the ingestion, training, fine-tuning, development, or use of the Materials in algorithms, machine learning models, large language models, generative AI systems, or any other artificial intelligence-related processes (whether generative or otherwise), without the prior express written consent of the Licensor.
Any request to use the Materials in connection with artificial intelligence systems must be submitted to the Licensor and will require formal evaluation and, where applicable, explicit written approval.
The Licensee does not have to comply with the licence for elements of the Materials that are in the public domain or where use is permitted by an applicable exception or limitation under current legislation.
No warranties are given. The licence may not grant all of the permissions necessary for the Licensee’s intended use. For example, other rights such as publicity, privacy, image rights, or data protection rights may limit how the Materials may be used.
The Licensee agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the Licensor against any judicial or extrajudicial claims arising from the use of the Materials, releasing the Licensor from any liability in this regard.
